Hi,

we've read the FAQ and not found anything. We have the following
problem: When compiling pgcc, and the file cccp, we get the following:

gcc  -DIN_GCC    -pedantic -fno-common -fno-builtin -Wall -Wshadow
-Wpointer-arith -Wcast-qual -Wwrite-strings -Wcast-align 
-Waggregate-return -Wnested-externs -Winline  -DHAVE_CONFIG_H    -o cccp
cccp.o cexp.o prefix.o \
  version.o obstack.o alloca.o    
Undefined                       first referenced
 symbol                             in file
alloca                              cccp.o
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to cccp
make[1]: *** [cccp] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/export/home/d01/egcs-1.1b/gcc'
make: *** [all-gcc] Error 2

Is that an known Solarisproblem? Please answer directly, as we're not 
on the list. Thanks.
