hi,

I've compiled the latest bind release (8.1.2) with gcc version
pgcc-2.90.29 980515 (egcs-1.0.3 release), -O6 -mpentium on a pentium/166
machine, running redhat 4.2 and the result was severely broken. Many
warnigs about /etc/named.conf file, corrupted zones, etc. Compiled w/ gcc
2.7.2.1, it works ok.
