I have tried the following to alleviate the problem. 1. read FAQ on goof.com - no information on this particular problem was available 2. re-download the latest pgcc files from ftp.goof.com, and re-install 3. I have tried the following versions of as.exe: as.exe dated 2/5/96 as.exe dated 5/20/97 as.exe dated 12/31/97 and for good measure ld.exe dated 12/31/97 if I switch between these during the recompile of libm, I can get through the compile, but the resulting lib is only about 800 bytes long, that isn't right. please note that I can compile libc ok (and other stuff too, like povray with no problems), so whats up with libm? (I also re-installed all source code for libm too). Thanks! Jonathan Bailey
