I'm not on the list, so any list-replies won't be seen by me.

That said, when I tried to compile either kernel 2.1.91 or 2.1.92 using
egcs v1.0.2 with the pgcc v1.0.2 patch applied, the kernel freezes on bootup
at the point where it should mount the local filesystem.

I used the -O6 -mpentium compile switches.

Any ideas?
