And here is the next question: If -O2 remains in configure and I run it the proposed way : CC="gcc -O6 ..." ... compiling goes this way: gcc -O6 .... -O2 ... Which optimization is used ? (Has -O6 been overwritten by the -O2?) Thanks for answering !
