Due to recent research, I have concluded that PCDOS is pretty much out of the question if I am going to obtain a higher level of functionality with regard to my use of DOS. I have therefore decided that DRDOS is by far my only viable option. Do any of you good people know where I can obtain a downloadable version of DRDOS? Furthermore, what might be the cost of registration and/or support? Also, does it allow for memory usage above the 8.6 megs of ram generally allotted by other versions of DOS? For that matter, what about the possibility of multi-tasking?
