I've seen the custom palette retained by text editors. When you see the colors you want, you can save the palette, then load it in autoexec.bat VPAL load YOURCOLR.PAL .zip is about 30k. freeware. can I attach it here? THEN, there is ANSI.COM which loads at the dos prompt. (and unloads!)
