Lineo seems to have sold DR DOS and there is a new owner at 
www.drdos.com   and they are asking for suggestions as to what 
should be done to improve their "to be released soon" version of 
DR DOS 7.01.   I should think there are at least a few dozen 
people on this forum who would be glad to give them a piece of 
their mind.

Also the old GEOSWORKS GUI program,  which was farmed out to 
NEWDEAL Inc and released as NEWDEAL 3.0, NEWDEAL OFFICE
SUITE 20, AND NEWDEAL OFFICE SUITE 2000, being produced by 
Breadbox Software:  www.breadbox.com.  They apparently don't have 
a dialer program built in but there are several which will work with it, 
and there are also several internet brousers that will work with it. 
The old link at www.newdeal.com is now being used by someone not 
involved with the software business.  

The GEOSWORKS INC has gone out of busines and sold off parts of 
their company piece by piece due to huge debt servicing and low cash 
reserves.  I believe 1 December 2000 is supposed to be their last day 
of business.
