A non-finalized disk won't be readable by NWCDEX/MSCDEX and many other tools, but it might still be readable by some software, in particular the CD burner software itself. Once the CD is finalized you can no longer add/change any contents (by adding more sessions), even if there was still free room before you finalized it. Greetings, Matthias
