I have a new pc. Athlon AMD 1200MHz Asus Board Soundkarte SB LIVE! 256MB Ram. So I installed Win2000 and Dr-DOS. Because Win2000 supports no dpmi DOS program I must use Dr-DOS. My problems: emm386 only find 64MB, this is right, because I haven't win98 himem.sys. dpms prints some lines (I think, debug info, maybe also error info) dr-dos doesn't support FAT16X emm386 has problems. All dpmi programs are unstable -> system crash I think i will use FreeDOS in the future, it can use FAT16 drives. Why I write this? Maybe Matthias or somebody else wants a better bug report. If you want more info about emm386,dpmi,dpms errors etc. please write back! Then I will test again and write all interesting info down. btw: New www.drdos.org site! It isn't finished. Every critik and feedback is wellcome! I also think of writing Lineo an email. bye, flox -- Florian Xaver E-Mail: florianx AT drdos DOT org / ICQ#: 59264800 "IŽLL NEVER GET OUT OF THIS WORLD ALIVE!!!" >>>>NEW: Dr-DOS http://www.drdos.org SEAL/DOS http://www.seal.de.vu
