DR-DOS comes with FILELINK, that will do the job, but is not very fast. If you can get hold of Sewell´s FASTLYNX (FX) from somewhere, try this instead, it is easier to set up and very fast. Alternatively, you can also using the Link facility of the Norton Commander (NC) or the DOS Navigator (DN) (Also I had problems to set up the later there are reports that it works). Regarding the 510 Mb BIOS limitation: Get OnTrack´s DiskManager or one of the OEM products. At least as long as the other OSes use the BIOS to access the disk (as DOS does), this is compatible with other non-DOS OSes and also with multi-boot utiities that install into the MBR (you must install them in the "virtual MBR" provided by DiskManager, not the physical MBR). OSes that bypass the BIOS to access the disk are incompatible with DiskManager, so BSD will probably not work. Greetings, Matthias PS. Please disable HTML when posting into this group. HTML is not recognized by many emailers, adds no extra value to the info, but more than doubles the transfer volume and thereby the costs for everyone. Also, HTML posts increase the risk for email viruses. In order to correctly set up Outlook Express 5.50 you can go to Extras->Options->Send, and select "text-only" instead of "HTML" for email *and* newsgroup posts. It is also wise to uncheck the option "Send reply in the same format as original". -- Matthias Paul, Ubierstrasse 28, D-50321 Bruehl, Germany ; http://www.uni-bonn.de/~uzs180/mpdokeng.html; http://mpaul.drdos.org
