Using MSCDEX its all ok. Accessing data CDs is ok. The drive itself is ok for NWCDEX. This is independent of CD-ROM driver (tried various), independend of other installed drivers, independend of using DPMS, NWCACHE. btw. tried both NWDOS 7 upd 15 and DRDOS 7.03 NWCDEX and played around with buffer etc. Known problem? Only workaround using MSCDEX instead? Any ideas? hardware: Slave at first EIDE is a CD-RW; slave at second IDE 4xCDROM.
