He may be able to sell Arachne for use with set-up boxes (for digital TV) but if so he needs a faster (not to mention more stable) product. By not putting any effort into 32-bit he will not be able to get the most out of such machines. I know that he thinks that WML (aka. WAP) is useless and that he therefor thinks he can sell to mobile phone companys as well, but some PDAs have CPU power well over 200MHz so they would also benefit? Besides I haven't heard from Nokia or Ericsson that they are going to drop WML support (although I really don't know it all that well since I work at the department at Ericsson that sends the data for the phone calls - I'm making the last piece of the puzzle to sending signals over IP actually).
