Hmmm. Seems some people overlook what is (has been) said on
this licensing issue!

For the last time, you *can* bundle PKWARE stuff legally if either :

1. You have purchased the distribution license for the "unzip" stuff,
   in which case you can (IIRC) bundle either the PKUNZIP.EXE
   file or a self-extracting archive (of your stuff).

2. You bundle the complete *shareware* package, and indicate to
   the intended recipient that it is a shareware package of PKWARE
   and that the recipient must follow the conditions specified by the
   shareware package (ie. trial period, blah, blah). Note that you
   cannot bundle a "registered" or "distribution" version in this way,
   just the "shareware" version.

I hope that clears things up, once and for all. So, don't assume that
any part of PKUNZIP is freeware, neither assume that anyone who
bundles PKWARE stuff as outlined above is doing so illegally.
