(Coyote is a project to pull together software for use on recycled computers). I have Windows 3.1 on that machine as well as a number of other dos shareware applications, so the config.sys and autoexec.bat files have a lot of stuff in them that doesn't directly relate to arachne. The important lines are the "VDISK ..." and "NWCACHE ..". The VDISK entry allocates ram to virtual drive D:, which is then assigned as "d:\TEMP" with the environment name="TEMP" that sets it up as Arachne's temp directory. The nwcache entry sets the size of disk cache, and should be kept reasonable small. Too large a disk cache will slow things down and we don't need that on an older machine :-) Thomas Webb http://wordwonder.com -- Arachne V1.69, NON-COMMERCIAL copy, http://arachne.cz/
