What a coincidence. I too have a server that reached into a msg from Patrick Moran and triple-posted an obituary, resulting in a msg of nearly 38k(!). Would this be the same Patrick Moran who just weeks ago was posting encoded HTML --in his *sig* already, as I recall--to the list, then complained that subscribers who objected had faulty email clients? Do I detect a behavior pattern here? Worse yet, my server also reached into Stuart Cox's response and *triple-posted the very same obit*, generating a msg of nearly 39.5k (!!!). Mr Cox kept faith with Mr Moran right down to reposting sp*m on behalf of Mr Moran's ISP. Is it too much to ask you dudes to brush up on your netiquette, not to mention your computer skills? *Please* review what you're posting before you hit the send button, quote selectively, and have some consideration for your captive audience. (And why, you may ask, is sp*m sp*lled th*sly ab*ve? Sp*mmers m*st h*ve beg*n declar*ng thems*lves *p fr*nt. *t *ny r*te, th* Del*rie lists*rv rej*cted th*s m*sg wh*n s*nt earli*r w*th th* dre*d w*rd int*ct, *nd * person*l qu*ry t* M*r Del*rie als* bounc*d b*t on* s*nt w*th sp*m spell*d th*sly appar*ntly w*s deliver*d.) I'll point out that it will be a week before any rejoinders reach me. ... Ciao. --a ======================================= adpFisher nyc
