That URL leads to some good information, so perhaps some day I may understand this networking stuff a bit better. :-) From what I can determine then, NT LANs use something called SMB, Samba also uses SMB; however the Novell client stuff doesn't understand SMB - therefore it can't work with such a LAN ... Yes, as I have indicated in another reply, I do use M$ Client for DOS, I'm just not happy with the memory it requires and a few other issues ...
