I don't know to whom and how DEC marketed the Alpha but I've seen and
worked on more OSF/DEC Unix boxes than NT and VMS combined.  I'm not sure
what the lineage of DEC unix is but it seemed to be quite similar to
Ultrix from the VAX days (yes, VMS was not the only option on the VAX
either).

As a side note, NT on the Alpha was surprisingly good - the x86 port
couldn't hold a candle to it in terms of stability or speed.

What does this have to do with DR-DOS?  I don't know anymore.
