Hi Robert,

You are correct on both accounts. Read the instructions and look at the
options. You can use it to only wipe out the slack area of files or
completely wipe out files or completely wipe out a disk. Actually you have
two programs on the later versions of Norton's, it used to be just one. Now
you have WIPEDISK and WIPEFILE. I don't remeber which version they divided
it into two commands, check your version and see if you have one or both
commands.
