Normally if I were to send a wav file for someone to listen to, I would compress it in one way or another. In this particular instance, I believed the person I was sending it to, is blind. I wanted to make it simple to access - The point I was trying to make is that for the blind sound as a message enhancement would perform the same function as does HTML for the sighted. I do appreciate your thoughts on the subject just the same. -----Original Message----- From: Adam Davin [SMTP:Blade_Badger AT bigfoot DOT com] Sent: Sunday, October 29, 2000 6:28 AM To: opendos AT delorie DOT com Subject: RE: attachments (is HTML) As a thought Possibly MP3 the wav first. There are plenty of compressors available. Though I'm using *shudder* windows cdex. there are bound to be some commandline driven ones, although I do concede that these may reqquire a windows environment as well... Well that's my 2c worth
