OK, I will try that and delete the "large" partition on drive C with either
fdisk or pqmagict and then go and create "two" new ones?  However, what
about this little 7.8 mb mini partition which seems to be related to the
Compaq internal information?  It didn't get removed when I re-formated the
drive in total?  So I of course plan to leave it alone, and think that it
must be the "set-up" configuration program somehow held in there because I
can enter set-up via f10 at boot-up.
    I'll let you know if it works to first delete and then make two, thanks
much.
