However, what about this little 7.8 mb mini partition which seems to be related to the Compaq internal information? It didn't get removed when I re-formated the drive in total? So I of course plan to leave it alone, and think that it must be the "set-up" configuration program somehow held in there because I can enter set-up via f10 at boot-up. I'll let you know if it works to first delete and then make two, thanks much.
