Sorry, but the published OpenDOS 7.01 MRS kit did not include any ROMming tools, although you might find out a little on how it works by looking at the IBMBIO source code in there. All this stuff was (is???) part of the commercial DR-DOS 7.02 System Builder s Kit (SBK) which came with a dozend of printed books and a CD including all the necessary stuff for OEMs. However, AFAIR, not even the SBK contained the sources for ROM/Flash filesystems, the DR PalmDOS PCMCIA/Socket Services stuff, and the ExecuteInPlace (XIP) and Personal Information Manager (PIM) plug-ins for MINIMAX (a specialized issue of the DR-DOS TASKMGR), which all is at least partially related to Embedding and ROMming. I don t know, if Lineo still sells it. The price for the SBK was reasonable for professional developers and OEMs, but I think it was unfortunately way to expensive for freewheeling DR-DOS activists or hobbyists... You might have some luck finding (non-DR-DOS) related ROMming stuff on SimTel. I haven t checked out myself, but since RxDOS is now also under GPL, it might include some ROMming tools, too (see www.freedos.org for RxDOS). Maybe this is of use for your application.
