I am using a disk with more capacity than 8.4 Gb, certainly. The disk itself is 13Gb, and I use a driver made by Ontrack to access partitions outside the 8.4 gigabyte range. I am not using a partition bigger than 2.1 gigabytes. I tried hyperdisk again, it was not one of the two I mentioned earlier, because it did not make the shortlist. I was using a program to evaluate disk caches. NWcache took approximately 40 seconds, Smartdrive 30, Hyperdisk took more than 500 seconds to complete the tests. This was with staged write and buffers ranging from 8-20 MB. ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=1
