As I understand it, while VXD drivers can be used, they have to be written for the job. I don't think that standard Win ones will work, but I'd be happy to be corrected. I'm not aware of one having been written for the screen, but there is one for sound which works OK and comes with the ASM source. I can't recall where it came from, but I think it was called sbvxd.zip. I don't have much use for sound, but if you ever come across a VESA screen VXD which works I'd be interested (and even more so in a serial port buffer one).
