As you can read in NWDOSTIP.TXT, you can load several Windows VxDs under the multitasking TASKMGR using the VXD= directive in TASKMGR.INI. You can use multiple VXD= directives in there. However, TASKMGR's VxD loader was originally designed to load networking VxDs and has some limitations. Personally I have made good experiences when loading .386 drivers (e.g. WIN32S.386 ;-), but most .VXD drivers won't work. TASKMGR will tell you if it succeeded to load a driver: It will then display "OK" after emitting the filespec when it starts up. If you don't see the "OK", there was an error, and the VxD will most probably be non-functional. Which VxDs are you trying to load?
