Somebody from Lineo wrote me: Due to a patent that Microsoft has on the creation of Long File Names, we cannot release the utility that we developed, and the FAT32 driver is only for OEM use due to the support costs involved. We cannot release DR DOS to GPL because we are still making money from it and it is still a viable commercial product. Until the day comes that it is no longer valuable to it, we will continue to sell it as is. DR DOS was never GPLed under Novell, and we had to discontinue providing the source because it gave us a competitive disadvantage that our competitors were able to exploit. Sorry for the bad news. .... I think, this says all, Dr-DOS die.... :-(( Bye, Florian Xaver
