I think one of the things you need to do is install DRDos and then Win95,
while checking
keep Old Dos files .   After all the goings on by Caldera and MS, I don't
know but what
you might have some problems (wasn't the lawsuit about MS putting the
poison pill in 
windows to spite DRDOS for not paying enough for the use of MS
proprietary API's and
stuff) even then with WIN95 on the computer.  I know that even when you
go into a DOS 
window and check off Properties/don't look for windows you can have
problems with 
many DOS games and other applications.  You should be able to boot to DOS
by 
hitting F8 on bootup and have full access to your dos stuff.  You might
try putting DOS 
on a second partition and let WIN95 have it's weird little perversion to
always be on top, 
        ie; WIN95 wants all its applications on drive C. 
Anything less leads to problems sooner or later, especially if you have
DOS stuff on the 
same computer.  You can usually load 'text of data files' anywhere, even
on zip or floppy 
drives, but WIN95 loves to be on a single drive system.  I think they
planned it from the 
start because they knew they were going to the 32 bit file system wit
WIN98/2000 wanted 
to get rid of DOS (even their own) completely.  After all Bill Gates
thinks Windoze is the 
only system to use and has even (my own thoughts) indirectly hinted to
the 
US Government that he could shut them down any time by his control of
Windows.
The way that works is, he can get a subpoena for every government office
and facility to
check for unregistered copies of Windows.  When you buy bulk licenses you
have to be 
VERY  careful  how many computers you install a program on. When the
Software police 
hit your office none of your computers are allowed to be operated until
they check them
out.  Currently MS has  the capability to check your computer when you go
on site for 
updates and verify every program on your computer is registered properly,
and that is
kind of scary.

Of course you could just get and old 486dx2/66 with a 1g hd for about
$150 at the local
swap meet or computer show and use it for DRDos and share your printer
and other stuff.??
