When using Linux, you may need to have several different versions of the kernel at the same time. The one you get out of the box, and a more recent version, if you want to try out things like USB, UDF disks or more modern PCI soundcards. If S-C can specify which kernel you want to boot, so that you can have several entries for Linux, that might be a good idea. If not, I'm sure you could make S-C boot LILO, so you can use that to choose which version of Linux you're going to run. S-C almost certainly has a way to have DRDOS and Win95 at the same time, although it might work by hiding partitions. If so, you'll have to switch off the Virus Warning support in the BIOS. This method can also remove the DRI Loader, so beware. I doubt S-C can do the drive-swapping trick, but then again, that might not be necessary. ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=1
