Cc: johanns AT nacs DOT net Reply-To: opendos AT delorie DOT com As I recall when the available opendos source was released there was a reference to "several compilers" being needed to compile it. I understand that Borland released several of their old compilers as museum pieces: Turbo Pascal: 1.0, 3.02, 5.5 Turbo C: 1.0, 1.5, 2.01 at link: http://community.borland.com/museum I was wondering which other compilers are needed to compile the available opendos sources? Maybe I could take a crack at it for fun. Also, what new developments have been made in DRDOS of late. I can see my FAT32 drive under DRDOS under DOSEMU with Caldera OL 2.2, but what has become of the LFN TSR that was being developed and is there a plan for FAT32 support for DRDOS? I am still trying to figure out how to make the DOSEMU DRDOS boot image writable. I would like to be able to run the DOS32 version of Vim (text editor) but it does not run under DOSEMU as is. :( Also, the venerable Cleveland Freenet, first of its kind in the nation, is calling it quits after 13 years at the end of September. Yet another text-mode system fades into memory. Any pointers on changing e-mail addresses for subscriptions to this list?
