I've seen at least one instance of DR DOS FDISK creating a partition
which MS-DOS could not read.  IIRC, it was on a Maxtor 7120 drive
(936c 16h 17s).

You may need to back everything up and repartition and reformat using
the MS-DOS utilities.  I've never known DR DOS to be unable to use a
partition created by MS-DOS <=6.22.
