I got a hold of GEM/3 Desktop the other day. I installed it on a 286 computer. I think it is much better than the New Deal Office/Geos thing. Less cluttered interface, and has a lot of possibilities in regards to updating it to be flexible. I don't think it would be hard at all for a programmer to rewrite it for 32-bit dos. I haven't installed the draw, publisher, or word processor yet. I'm gonna try them out next. Maybe even on an 8088. So Caldera: YES, GEM is an excellent product that should be brought back if possible. It would make a wonderful addition to DR-DOS, just as Star Office + x-windows compliments your Linux.
