You can then boot from disk and run sys a: c: if you need to restore the old files. Next remove the attibutes from the old files. attrib -r-s-h c:\ibmbio.com attrib -r-s-h c:\ibmdos.com Next copy the new over the old ones. Then replace the attributes. attrib +r+s+h c:\ibmbio.com attrib +r+s+h c:\ibmdos.com Copy the new command.com over the old one. And last, reboot the system.
