Is this machine you're trying to use driveparm on an xt? If not, then
there's no need to use driveparm or driver.sys to make this happen, simply
change your cmos by running the cmos setup utility (built-in on most
systems) though some need a special boot disk for this purpose.  If it's
an xt you're using, then honestly, anything above dos 3.3 is a waste of
memory on such a system.
