Hi all.
I am indeed excited to know that caldera can add there claim that
windows is running on top of good old dos to there law suit.
I think the results of that shall be interesting.

      But is seeing believing? It had been argued that this only proves you
   can use DOS to launch Windows 95. Microsoft claims the Windows 95
   operating system takes over the whole system afterward.
   
   Not so, say Windows experts Andrew Schulman and Matt Pietrek. These
   two, among others, have demonstrated that Windows 95 continues to use
   selected DOS functions (See our resources section below for links to
   information from these authors regarding DOS and Windows 95.)
   
   Bryan Sparks claims that, whatever the documents show, Caldera is
   about to settle the issue once and for all. It began the process by
   demonstrating in the courtroom that Windows 95 will run on top of
   DR-DOS when Caldera adds a tiny 600-byte TSR (Terminate and Stay
   Resident program) to provide the few enhancements Microsoft made to
   its own version of DOS. More important, Caldera is using the TSR
   utility to track how Windows 95 uses DOS after it is loaded.
   
   As a result Caldera is documenting exactly how often and in what ways
   Windows 95 uses DOS during and after the Windows start-up process.
   Caldera seems confident that the results will surprise many people.
   Caldera plans on releasing the TSR to the public in about a month,
   after a keyboard bug is fixed. "Once we give this TSR out, people can
   see for themselves," says Sparks.

I am waiting for a copy of this tsr.
I will be patient.
But, will this let us run the tsr and have windows services?
Willl this let us run drdos with win95 easier?
What features and capabilities will this little gem have?

Wouldn't it be great to be at a good old dos prompt with a tsr loaded
giving us all access to the winapi?
You would have the best of both worlds.
