The error I was getting when installing WFW 3.11 said something about a subst (subsitute) command being in effect and to remove it before installing WFW. I checked and I could not find a subst command in my config or autoexec. I ended up installing M$dos first, WFW, then Dr dos. Kind of a long and round about path to take but it was the only thing I could get to work.
