And then DOS works > like Win95. You are correct. This was just my feable attempt at the use of a batch file to simulate W95's B.S. In which they make you 'think' that it's faster. When in reality, it's slower. Thanks for pointing-out the use of NWCACHE to speed things up. But, you are mistaken. Useing NWCACHE is not like W95.
