If I try the same : > thing under DOS, instant success. : : Was this with 7.01 or 7.02? The 7.02 nwcdex contains many fixes. : I used to have a problem like this, but it went away in 7.02. Yeah, must find some room on my drive for that - my friend has it on his HD and may let me download it. : With luck and a following wind, DPMI will be usable in release 7.03. Usable, yes, but excellent? Bugfree? (Not that I'm criticising...) 8-) : I don't know of an offical buglist, but I've heard of plans to publish a : list of fixes on the DRDOS website, and the latest versions of the : utilities as they are updated. Ah cool, I'll wait until I see the updates then... Meanwhile, I'm just having fun _manually_ trying to install Redhat from a non- cooperative CD-ROM onto 20 megs - I've got as far as plonking a few binaries and some libraries on drive, now I just have to work out how to make cm206cd work as a block device...once I get _that_ problem sorted out, I'll be sweet. Of course then, I have to find an ESDI controller for my 380 M ESDI drive... Well, enough of my blathering (read: moaning my butt off!!) and onto other messages from other people...
