Vladivar was the codename for the memory manager used in NWDOS and after, i.e. OpenDOS. The DRDOS 6 memory manager was called Smirnoff, but it was ditched for Vladivar, because a rewrite was needed for the multitasking. (Hence the current memory manager is technically in version 1.xx, even though it is called version 3.xx.)
