Thanks. 4DOS works quite well with DR-DOS and TASKMGR, but you need to edit your TASKMGR.INI file and set Exec=True. This is because to save memory, TASKMGR makes some valid assumptions about COMMAND.COM which are not true for 4DOS. Setting Exec=True does not instance the existing copy of the shell, but always loads a new copy. This takes more memory, and the behaviour to load TASKMGR out of batchjobs changes significantly. With older issues of 4DOS (5.0x), you also should try to diable these UMBxxxx directives in 4DOS.INI.
