Subject: problems running mpeg encoder

I turned a friend of mine on to Dr-Opendos and he has had no problems until
last night , he was trying to run Fraunhofer MPEG layer 3 mpeg encoder which
uses the GO32 dos extender. On his machine it causes a spontainious reboot.
I also use L3enc and it runs fine on my machine if I set PIC=OFF. When I set
him up with OD we disscused the PIC point and made sure he didnt have the
install program set up OD for best games compatability (PIC=ON).

Does anyone have any sugestions that could be helpful. (Other than using an
M$dos boot disk)
