Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Precedence: bulk I'm connecting two computers under opendos and the first one I'm working on has a new, cheap, NE2000 compatible plug and play NIC. It passes all diagnostics, but after I reboot and load my network software in autoexec.bat, if I run the diagnostic program again, it fails the loopback test. Should I be concerned? I'm using the plug and play driver off of the card's installation disk because the ne2000.exe driver originally loaded in startnet.bat wouldn't initialize the card. With the supplied driver, everything seems to boot up right.
