As far as I know, COMP errorlevels are not documented at all, so noone can rely on them. However, COD tries to stay as compatible as possible to MS-DOS, so I assume, these obviously not very useful errorlevels are a duplication of what MS-DOS does (if not, please tell me, since personally I have not tested MS-DOS COMP in this respect). > No. I mean not troubles with manipulating "errorlevel" (this is not >troubles _for me_). Exactly. ;-) Discussing COMP, I just thought it might be interesting to some listeners when giving some (more or less related) background info (in this case the errorlevel). That s why I m sometimes a little bit off topic... [In general] BTW, another totally off-topic issue to all listeners: I would very much appreciate not to receive most of the mails doubled because of the mentioning of my mail-address in the CC: fields. If you write/reply to the mailing list, you don t need to include me in the CC: or other internal distribution list. If you write to me *privately*, that s ok, but then please don t CC: to the list. I assume all mails also been send to the lists as open, not private (and if replying it causes quite alot of unnecessary effort trying to remove me from all the mail headers, so that I don t reply to myself). And - if you want to report problems with OpenDOS to Caldera, why not using Caldera s offical address for this purpose: with as much information you can give to reproduce the problem. Thanks.
