(ie: cd /dosc<>rm -r<>) gone, dumped erased. i am now in the process of reformatting the diskettes for use with linux. (about 400). the only gui that i ever gave a thought to using was desqview /x from quarterdeck. gui's take up space, use a lot of resources, and load things that i may no use during any one session. if i am not going to use my sound-card for something, why should the sound drivers be loaded? or if i am not going to print, why should a printer driver be loaded? and so on. btw: you figure out the **. aaa AT netcom DOT com On Sat, 29 Nov 1997, Weiqi Gao wrote: > Roger Winter wrote: > > > > I to am new to the list but may have some input on multiple O/S. > > > > No mention has been made of SYSTEM COMMANDER this great little > > programme allows not only multiple O/S`s (OpenDos, IBM, Dos 6.22, > > Win 95, OS2, Win NT ect)to co exist on one partition but also > > supports variations of each O/S such as Windows 95 normal, OpenDos > > normal and Windows 95 Quemm, OpenDos Quemm ect very much like > > the menu system support in Dos 6.22 and partially offered in the > > original Windows 95.
