When I tried to install this morning, all went smooth - up to copying STACHIGH - then setup hung and I could do nothing but reboot. I have booted OpenDOS 7.02b2 from floppy #1, since running setup booted to my current^H^H^H^H^Hold Novell DOS made setup crash rather quickly with a 'divide error'. The download should have been OK, since Dod702.exe unpacked the floppy images without errors. To verify the floppies are OK, I wanted to repeat everything from the download, but found that the files are now dated 97/11/24. Can someone tell me what's new? My system: AMD5x86/133 (sometimes /160) - EXP4045 VLB MB - SST2946 VLB Controller 40MB RAM - WD 720 MB drives C/D/E - Conner CFS420A drive F - 4speed CDROM - SB32AWE - Yamaha SW60XG - ESCOM handy scanner NovellDOS 7.0 patch 15/2 - Win3.1 + patch 3.11 - CONFIG.SYS/AUTOEXEC with lots of configurations, too much to tell here. (should not matter anyway since I booted from install floppy #1) BTW: hopefully Dod702 will stop Creative's AWEUTIL TSR from crashing my system in DOS mode, anyone tried already ? Andreas Schulz
