From what I've been able to test concer
concerning these two systems opendos
works better than msdos 6.22
given identical systems in djgpp and 
identical code to compile.
For that reason I suspect path not
found statements originate as a result
of sloppy coding in emm386.exe written
for msdos 6.22.
I got a compile with no errors on g77
with opendos 7.02 as should have happened
and msdos 6.22 couldn't do it.
