Completely or nearly so. Use GNU utilities set instead ;). > It does look more like _Open_DOS, right? Well, I've still got a copy of OD, but not installed. I don't plan on using it again unless Caldera's current position changes. GNU is more appropriately named OpenDOS. ;o) I'm going to instead transfer my "DOS" interests efforts over to the tried and true REAL FREE software out there. FreeDOS Linux GNU etc... I've had enough of the "corporate" side of things. Don't get me wrong however - I still think OpenDOS has great potential, and I think that Caldera is still a good company. I just regret wasting my time on their "word" of releasing source. I've learned one thing from this: Don't buy into hype. And, if you want free software with source, download FSF, and GNU GPL software. Don't count on any commercial entities releasing their source code.... Except perhaps for iD Software and crack.com (Wolfenstein 3D and Abuse respectively). Oh, if anyone is interested.... id is "supposedly" releasing the DOOM sources by christmas or so. finger romero and helpatid Mike A.
