NWCDEX.exe?? Precedence: bulk -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- I'm having trouble getting my cdrom to work under opendos. I've included my config.sys and autoexec.bat below. When I boot up the system says that it cannot find the driver SMS001 which is specified in the config.sys. This thing works under MS-DOS. If I had a copy of MSCDEX I'd use it but since I don't I'd like to get nwcdex working if possible. Thanks to any & all who can help. The cd drive is a Sony 55E (IDE) cdrom. ==================================== autoexec.bat: @ECHO Off PATH C:\OPENDOS;C:\;c:\dev NWCACHE 7670 1024 /LEND=ON /DELAY=OFF VERIFY OFF PROMPT [OpenDOS] $P$G SET OPENDOSCFG=C:\OPENDOS rem nwCDEX.EXE /D:SMS001 /v nwCDEX.EXE /D:SMS001 /v ==================================== config.sys: LASTDRIVE=f DEVICE=C:\OPENDOS\EMM386.EXE DPMI=OFF FRAME=NONE DEVICE=C:\OPENDOS\DPMS.EXE DEVICE=C:\OPENDOS\SETVER.EXE SHELL=C:\COMMAND.COM C:\ /E:512 /P BREAK=OFF BUFFERS=15 FILES=20 FCBS=4,4 HISTORY=ON,512,ON COUNTRY=1,,C:\OPENDOS\COUNTRY.SYS DOS=HIGH,UMB rem DEVICE=\DEV\ATAPI_CD.SYS /D:SMS001 DEVICE=\DEV\ATA217D.SYS /D:SMS001 /\/\ark tucker AT together DOT net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQCVAwUBM9lr5NM9s5g2UMglAQERCQP+NjEzLU+numPHmnG7FloI/7EyDzul9oBe uQdbnRrlPUqQ0zX84SDcaxt9khffDdWpD7n+JkWYCsoCGR37ElAEXFOhWNKXL2V2 88zFhv3wKItqPQA424d4cMwP62/uqj1DhSgVb0r1ZIcRRdJerIsR9BvgmnsI91zV 56KwG84np8E= =E4LM -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
