I'm subscribed to the digest version of the opendos list, and a "reply" for me doesn't default to the sender or the opendos list but listserv AT delorie DOT com. Strange. 2. Loading stuff in config.sys > > (I wrote about INSTALL=C:\DOS\NWCDEX.EXE complaining about lastdrive) > Pretty much because NWCDEX should be in AUTOEXEC.BAT. From what others have said a while ago, there are oddities in the half-ready situation DOS (Open- or otherwise) finds itself in during the config.sys stage, but (as Paul pointed out) it would be nice if we could load such things as NWCDEX at this time (for me especially because I use the fact that only OpenDOS executes DCONFIG.SYS). 3. What files reference NETWORK.DRV? > Anyone have any clue where the reference to NETWORK.DRV is that I might > have overlooked? Notice that the nice OpenDOS FIND command can take wildcards, so you can do something like FIND NETWORK *.INI and that sort of thing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mark Aitchison, Physics & Astronomy \_ Phone : +64 3 3642-947 a.h. 3371-225 University of Canterbury, (/' Callsign: ZL3TQE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
