I have a text library (for djgpp though) for standard VGA that supports
either 36 or 39 text modes.  It should not be hard to port to 16 bit asm
(most of the mode setting is in `gas' asm).  If anyone is interrested,
I'll mail it to them (no ftp or web space :( )
