I'm interested in discussing methods and problems/solutions involved in compiling command.com and the OpenDOS kernel. Personally, I had relatively little difficulty compiling ibmdos.sys and ibmbio.sys as I had the right versions of MASM, LINK, and LIB. I had a bit more trouble with command.com, but was eventually able to get a running version using Borland C 3.1. However, to do that I had to do a few funny things that I either should not have had to do, or might even lead to operational problems at some point. Is this list archived anywhere?
